 I just wanted to take a minute to send along my praise of the fine job your crew did on my recent move. The move was from Wallingford to Middlefield on 12/30/11. The men arrived on time, fully went over the contract, and immediately began working. They quickly assessed the difficult pieces that needed further disassembling on my part, no problem, and began their work. The three men worked constantly, proficiently, and courteously.

They treated all of our possessions like they were their own. The entire loading and unloading went faster and smoother than expected. The three men are to be commended and I would hire them and your company again. I have used other local movers and regretted it greatly.

Mario, and the rest of the team, did a great job moving us yesterday. They said they would do a careful job and treat the furniture as if it were their own. They were all polite and courteous. They even put a blanket down to the entrance to the house to reduce the amount of dirt getting into the house. When they were done they asked if there was anything else we needed moved or adjusted. Additionally, when they were getting into the truck, Mario came back to the house to say goodbye to my wife.

Please pass on my appreciation to “Dan” who moved Jack Davis from Winsted to Village Gate Senior Living in Farmington on Tuesday, Dec 21.

I was asked to help Jack—to pick him up from a nursing home, bring him to his apartment and standby while movers were there, and then take him to his new apartment at Village Gate. When I arrived at his Winsted apartment I was aghast at what needed to be done—nothing was packed, organized or planned for. When Dan and his partner arrived, they took it all in stride. They were both extremely patient, understanding and compassionate towards Jack and the entire situation.

I apologize for the lack of organization and preparation and everything they had to endure. I also apologize for jack arguing about the bill. He comes from a different generation and has an aged perception of the value of services and goods in 2010. What Dan and his partner did that day was worth every penny.

Once again, please pass on my thanks and apology to Dan for his great service and what he went through that day.
